A man named Chris was mountain biking back in the woods of Fernie, British Columbia when he unexpectedly ran into something dangerous – it was a mountain lion! Chris tried to retreat on his bike, but the cougar followed suit and stepped towards him whenever he inched away.
Chris tried one thing when he was left with no choice: to scare it off. He did the right thing, and it saved his life! That was truly a valuable lesson to learn when dealing with wild animals: always portray yourself as the alpha with your tone, pitch and body language!
