This rough looking cat is named Cotton. He had been living life as a blind cat in Royal Palm Beach, Florida until he was rescued. Cotton wandered up to a house and just started to eat food that was in a bowl. It was cat food that had been left out for the homeowner’s cat.

The homeowner said that Cotton attacked the food like he hadn’t eaten in weeks. Cotton’s eyes were crusted shut – he had a severe case of mange.

The homeowner got Cotton loaded in a carrier and sent out a plea for help on Facebook. Carmen Weinburg, the founder of Animal Friends Project, saw the post and knew she could help.
Carmen took Cotton to her vet at Justin Bartlett Animal Hospital.
