Older animals at the shelter are often overlooked. Everyone seems to want a young pet. So, Charlie waited for a long time at the shelter before finding a forever home. Charlie, 13, was in search of a quiet, loving home. She found it when an older man came to the shelter.
The two spent some time in a visitation room, and within a few minutes, Charlie was on the man’s lap! Charlie just had this feeling that this man was going to be the one to take her home and love her. Or this was her way of asking if he would take her home. And he did!
