Autistic Man Cries When Flight Gets Delayed Then Airline Worker Shows ‘Utmost Compassion’

Flying on an airplane is stressful. We all know the plane itself is going to be cramped and you will have to sit still for a long time, and if there is turbulence, the whole thing is even that more stressful! Russell Lehmann, a motivational speaker who also has autism and was on his way to give a speech about what it is like to live with autism.

Lehmann was not having much luck with his flights, there were delays and missed connections, and he was falling apart from the stress.

Finally, Lehmann had a meltdown at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport and ended up curled up behind an empty ticket counter.

David, an American Airlines employee, saw Lehmann and took the time to help motivate Lehmann and get him back on track.
