Alzheimer-Diagnosed Grandma Emotionally Transforms When This Puppy Visits Her

Animal therapy can do wonders for people – especially for a man named Richard Dawson, whose grandmother, 95-year-old Winifred Lowe currently suffers from Alzheimer’s. His grandmother’s emotions often spiral out of control and experiences a high level of stress – that is when Richard decided to ‘borrow’ a puppy to help her cope.

The ‘Borrow My Doggy’ service pairs dog owners with the emotionally needy within the United Kingdom – and it has won rave reviews for the miracles that happened. 9-month-old Dachshund Orla was lent to Winifred – and she loves him!

Orla comes by every Tuesday and Thursday along with her owner for a couple of hours on a weekly basis – it helped Winifred forget her anxieties and stress.
